I’ve been with new Creations for nearly three years. When I first read about a franchise opportunity with New Creations, I was at the point in life where I needed a career change, and after 25 years of working in the trucking industry, this was the perfect opportunity for me.
Upon first speaking with Larry and his son, they have me enough information to further intrigue me, and within no time I was on my way to BC to meet Larry and spend a few days shadowing him.
Seeing the amazing work that he did and the customer gratification for a job well done was what sold me. Also knowing that I would be the first New Creations franchise in Ontario was very exciting!
It’s great to be doing the jobs (like repairing materials like vinyl, leather and furniture upholstery) for those that feel that their only option might be to buy new. Conducting a repair and restoration for these people, whether it be because they can’t afford something new or because the item holds sentimental value to them, makes the job so satisfying.
I love offering customers unique restorations, too, and repairing things that they wouldn’t normally think could be restored.

I’ve been with New Creations for eight months now. I was in the car business for twenty five years and knew people who were in this line of work.
I emailed and talked to Josh and Larry, the New Creations owners, several times and ended up flying out to Vancouver to see for myself! I went out on the road with Larry and was amazed at the quality of work that was being done. Not only did we work at dealerships, we also conducted repairs and restorations at restaurants, hotels, restoration companies and moving companies.

I’ve been with New Creations for more than 15 years. When I first started, I had just come from the upholstery trade and I was working for the franchise owner who used to own it.
I was interested in the idea of being my own boss, so when the previous owner approached to see if I wanted to buy the franchise, I decided to do it! I enjoy the work because it’s always great when you can repair and restore someone’s sentimental or personal items when they are in a bit of a bind and don’t know where to look. Whether it’s leather repairs, automotive restorations or furniture refurbishments, it’s rewarding to help someone who doesn’t know if there’s anything that can be done to repair their things. I just get a good feeling from it!
