How it Works

New Creations utilizes a simple investigation process. It’s designed to help you determine whether our franchise opportunity will meet your needs and the many ways used to generate revenue and build the business. Each appointment will build upon the previous step with the final step being reached after you’ve attended our discovery day held at our corporate headquarters.

Larry Stevenson

Founder

In 1988, after several years perfecting the art of vinyl, leather, and cloth repair, Larry launched New Creations. In 1995 he began franchising the business and has enjoyed watching it grow across North America. Today, he continues to shape the company’s training, research and development, and culture.

Josh Stevenson

President

Josh joined New Creations in 2005 as a mobile technician and now serves as President. He leads the company’s vision and strategy, oversees head office operations, and works directly with franchise owners to support their growth. Outside of work, Josh enjoys time with his wife and two kids, golfing, reading, and playing the drums.

Brianna Stevenson

Director of Operational Support

Brianna oversees onboarding for new franchisees and provides ongoing support as they run and grow their businesses. She loves taking complex, difficult tasks and turning them into simple, repeatable processes. Brianna is the go-to person for franchisees whenever they need help with anything administrative or behind the scenes.

Steve joined the leadership team in 2019, bringing over 30 years of experience in the franchise industry. He oversees new franchise sales and development, helping the right owners launch and succeed in their territories. Steve lives in Lynden, Washington, and enjoys golfing and spending time with his three kids.

Dave Stone

USA Partner & Lead Training Coach

Dave joined New Creations in 1990 as the company’s first employee, later purchasing the first franchise in Richmond, BC, which he still owns and operates. In 2000, he and his wife Kelly moved to the United States to expand New Creations there. With more than three decades of hands-on experience, Dave loves a challenge and now focuses his energy on growing New Creations across the U.S.

For over 15 years, Jeff has devoted his workdays to repairing the exterior of vehicles and training technicians across the company. He is widely respected for his high standards of workmanship and his ability to teach others. In his spare time, Jeff enjoys skateboarding and spending time with his wife and two kids.

Ben Moerman

Lead Training Coach

Ben joined New Creations in 2006 as an employee before purchasing a franchise in Grande Prairie, Alberta. He has since expanded his territory and now leads a strong team serving Calgary and all of southern Alberta. Ben has developed repair methods used company-wide and has trained many successful technicians, all while bringing a friendly, approachable style to every interaction.

Darren Clark

Lead Training Coach

Darren joined New Creations in 2002 as an employee in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and launched his own franchise in Saint John, New Brunswick, in 2013. A natural teacher, he uses a calm, systematic approach to train technicians in New Creations’ unique trade. When he’s not working, Darren enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters and going paintballing.

Alex Stone

Lead Trainer

Including being involved with the business for most of his life, Alex has been working in a professional capacity for New Creations since 2013. During that time, he has perfected several tricks of the trade and continues to push the limits of his knowledge as a corporate trainer. He is responsible for ensuring new franchisees know our craft and regularly trains classes of new technicians. If you find him on a repair, consider the issue in expert hands.

Marni Smith

Franchise Development Consultant

Marni Smith supports New Creations’ growth as a Franchise Development Consultant. With more than 23 years of experience in franchise growth, strategic planning, and business development, she helps qualified candidates evaluate the opportunity, understand the model, and move confidently through the discovery process. Marni previously served as Vice President of Franchise Development at Sandler, where she focused on expanding a global franchise network and setting new franchise owners up to thrive.

Kayla Rueck

Manager of Administration

Kayla Rueck keeps New Creations’ day-to-day administration running smoothly as Manager of Administration. She supports the head office team and franchise owners by coordinating documentation, streamlining internal processes, and helping ensure clear, timely communication across the network—so franchisees can stay focused on delivering quality repairs in the field.

Katrina Friend

Onboarding Coordinator

Katrina is the Office Manager at New Creations USA, where she ensures all administrative operations run efficiently and seamlessly. In addition to supporting Dave and Kelly with a variety of administrative projects, she also plays a key role in onboarding new franchisees across the U.S.

Outside of work, Katrina enjoys spending time with her husband and three kids, doting on her cats, watching scary movies, going for walks, relaxing at the beach, and getting lost in a good book.
